Alfonso Hernandez is Director of Sustainability at Gensler, where he leads efforts in decarbonization, resilience, and future-proofing the built environment. A licensed architect and LEED Accredited Professional, Alfonso brings deep expertise in computational building performance, design integration, and high-performance modeling. He has contributed to over 180 projects globally and frequently presents at leading industry conferences. Alfonso is passionate about using data and emerging technologies to drive sustainable design and has taught environmental technologies at the graduate level, shaping the next generation of architects committed to climate-conscious innovation.
